FAQ's
When should I begin my search for my wedding gown?
You should begin your search for your wedding gown about one year before your wedding as designer gowns do take up to six months to order. Add another 6-8 weeks for alterations. However, if you have an upcoming wedding date we do our best to find the perfect gown. While some of our designers offer rush service offer rush services giving yourself enough time will save you from stress and rush fees. We will do our best to accommodate your upcoming wedding no matter how much time you have.
Do I need an appointment to shop for wedding gowns?
To ensure that we keep each bride the center of attention, our shop is by appointment, although walk -ins are welcomed. We always encourage appointments on Saturdays. Appointments typically run an hour and a half.
What is the price range of your bridal collection?
We are currently showcasing nine fabulous designers whose gowns reflect a beautiful combination. Our gowns range in price from $1500-$4000. A majority of our bridal gowns are typically $1700-$2400.
What can I expect during my bridal appointment?
From the moment you step through our door, you'll have our attention. You will work with one bridal stylist throughout the appointment that will spend time to get to know you better and provide you with the best service. You and your friends and family will share one of our private fitting rooms where you will try on beautiful wedding gowns that reflect your personal style and the wedding you're planning.
Who should I bring to my bridal appointment?
Choosing your wedding gown is something you want to share with those who are closest to you. From our experience, it is important to invite family and friends whose opinion you trust most. We allow the bride + 3 guests. In our experience, when brides request to bring more than 3 guests, they usually voice to us that they feel overwhelmed with opinions throughout the appointment.
In addition to this, if you have a pair of shoes that you’d like to bring to your appointment we recommend it. Some of our dresses may be ordered to your exact height, so it’s great to be prepared for measurement by having the shoes or shoes that are the same height as those you wish to wear on your wedding day.

Alteration Questions
Do you provide alterations?
We do not currently offer alterations.
When we order your gown, we will measure you and follow the corresponding vendor's size chart. We order the closest size according to your measurements. Please remember your gown is not custom made to your body measurements. In most cases, alterations may be needed. At the time of purchase, we will discuss with you how your measurements align with the vendor’s size chart. Alterations are not included in the price of the dress.
Will I need alterations?
We have a list of trusted seamstresses in the York and Lancaster area if you do not already have a seamstress.
* We are in no way affiliated/responsible for work done outside of our boutique.*
How do I find a seamstress?
If you’d like custom work done to the gown that does not require and alteration fitting, then we are happy to do your customizations prior to you taking your gown with you. This usually includes custom straps, sleeves, closing a plunge to a dress, lining a see through bodice, adding appliqués to a dress, or customizing a veil!
In addition, one of the seamstresses we recommend focuses on customizable wedding dresses. Her work is outstanding, and we will recommend you to her if you’d like to have customizations + alterations done in one place.

What is the process once my dress arrives in the store?
Once your dress arrives, we will reach out to you! You are welcome to set up a “Try On Appointment” to come in and try on your dress. At this point, you can choose to keep your dress here until you’re ready to take it to a seamstress elsewhere, or you may take the dress home with you. This appointment is set up through the store, and cannot be set up online.
You may also set up a “Bridal Accessory Appointment” if you’d like to try on your dress + shop for accessories, such as a veil, or jewelry.
